The four purposes are at the heart of our new curriculum. They are the forefront of all decisions made with the content and experiences we develop as part of the curriculum.

They are designed to influence how we plan, teach and assess.

Take a look at our Four Purposes Characters that were created by the children working alongside CISP Multimedia https://www.cispmultimedia.com/.  All of the children took part in a Teams meeting with Beth from CISP. Beth showed us some examples that other schools had created relating to the four purposes.  We created class mind maps of all the words linked to each purpose.  We then used these words to help us design our characters.  The children chose a purpose and then drew their own design linking to that.  The designs were then put forward to Beth to merge the children's designs to create each character. Here are some examples of our designs, followed by the completed characters.
