It is my great pleasure, on behalf of the children, staff and governors, to welcome you to our school. At Newton, our aim is to give every child the very best start in life so they can grow into confident, successful and responsible individuals—secure, engaged and well-equipped for the future.

I am privileged to lead a team of dedicated, passionate staff who place the needs of learners at the heart of everything they do. At Newton, you will see pupils engaged in an exceptional range of learning experiences that encourage independence, collaboration and the development of key skills across the curriculum. Above all, there is a real buzz of excitement in learning—something we hope every child will carry with them for life.

We are also fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful community resources—the beach, woodland areas, duck pond and playing fields—all of which enrich and extend our pupils’ learning. We believe that happiness and wellbeing are the foundations of success, and we are proud to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where every member of our school community can flourish and grow in confidence.
