School PE & Sport
Newton Primary School offers a wide range of sporting activities, and many pupils have been selected for district, county and regional teams.
We are very proud of our sporting tradition and the success which has been built up over many years. Our prime aim is for all pupils irrespective of individual talent to:
· Participate in team games with enjoyment, acceptance of rules and the development of team spirit.
· Respond positively to personal challenge through outdoor and athletic activities.
· Learn to swim and gain an awareness of water safety.
We are fortunate enough to have a playing fields and two netball/basketball courts enabling us to offer a wide range of sporting facilities for all children.
